Our Story...
The Thomason family has been in Caroline County for generations. Raising their kids to appreciate the Eastern Shore ways of life, Katie and Allan Thomason took the family on their boat as much as they could to fish, crab, swim, and relax.
The Thomasons purchased the Ellen B and what was then River Run Cruises from the original owner Captain Billy Behlke in 2023. Allan had just earned his Captain's license with plans to drive the boat as a future retirement gig, but Mr. Behlke had other plans. Within just a few weeks they had renamed the business River City Cruise Co., put a plan together for their first season, and started taking trial run rides on the Ellen B. They have now spent three summers running RCCC with a crew of Captain Allan, Katie, and their five kids: Kennedy, Ali, Will, Wes, and Parker.
